Find Out What The Best Producers Are Using To Produce Music

December 29, 2009

Website: www.musicproducerpro.net

I don’t know if you all are aware but some of the biggest rappers are now rapping on FL Studio beats. Jay Z kicked it off with 9th Wonder. Then came Franchise Boys, Crime Mob, & Soulja Boy on FL Studio. And now Drake’s producer Boi 1da who made “Forever” with Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Eminem is repping FL Studio.

I personally started off with hardware (MPC 2000XL / Motif) then i gradually moved to software. I think with everyone scrambling for Soulja Boy & Boi 1da’s beats now FL Studio is finally getting the Co-Signs that it needs to be a real force in “High End” music production and not just for bedroom producers & amatuer hobbyist.

I post this just to give yall a FYI on what’s going on and in no way am i telling you to use FL Studio if you want to make hot beats. I use all kinds of beat makng software & sequencers and there is no “magic hit maker” out there. You must learn your craft & study the game and it doesn’t matter if you rocking Hardware or Software. Hot Beats are Hot Beats, plain & simple.

The purpose of this post is to show how software only producers are finally being taken serious. FYI – Even Dr. Dre is rocking Reason now.

Becoming The Next Big Producer In Hip Hop Music

December 2, 2009

Website – www.musicproducerpro.net

Let’s face it. Hip-Hop, and rap in particular, is HUGE right now. Some of the biggest beats and tightest sounds are coming from the South, and consumption is at an all time high. So how in the world do you break in? Well you can try becoming a rapper, but the industry is full of broke rappers making no money and struggling to pay for beats and studio time.

Perhaps the most solid way to break into the biz is the tried-and- true model of super-producers like Timbaland, Kanye West, and Dr. Dre. These guys all started out making music and finding rappers hungry for fresh sounds. Now, you can hear these guys on their own albums because they took the
time to build up a brand name and establish their own niche in the business. Nebula is another producer but his idea is very revolutionary.

He has decided to exploit the power of the internet by getting his fresh music out to rappers across the world. Best of all, this music is totally royalty-free, meaning you don’t have to pay for repeated usage of the music. You could hypothetically use affordable cool edit pro software with Nebula’s beats to craft your own album, skipping the costs of a studio.

Think about this for a minute. The big problem with hip hop today is that many songs are formulaic. This is bad because innovation falls by the wayside. But its also great for newcomers because the demand is always high and once you grasp the formula, you can create new songs based on what is tried and true. That is when you achieve true artistic freedom. To quote Dr. Dre himself: “Now I’ma be able to do whatever I wanna do,” he claims. “If it works, it’s on me. If it fails, it’s on me. But I’m an innovator. I like trying things.”

In conclusion, joining up and coming producers such as Nebula who have interesting strategies such as providing royalty-free beats allows you as the burgeoning mogul to leverage on the quality work of others to build your own name brand and skills. It also provides a great opportunity to work on your
own product without sinking under the costs of studio time and paying royalties. Don’t be afraid of taking your game to the next step. See you in the streets!

Making It Big As A Music Producer

July 5, 2009

http://www.musicproducerpro.net

Serious about getting into the music industry? Do you think if you learn how to produce music you could be the next big thing to hit the market? Do you want to be the next ‘DJ Premier’, ‘Dr Dre’, ‘Kanye West; or even ‘Puff Daddy’ then I know exactly what you have to do.

The music industry is growing with new talent coming out everyday and producers are getting better and better so you need to be better, you need to learn what they are not learning to get that internship at that major record label. You need to make sure that demo cd you send to the record label sounds even better than anybody elses and gets picked up by A&R. Firstly what you need to do is get your knowledge up in music production, there is no point is just trying to make music if you don’t know what the listener or the label want. You need to learn the formula that makes a hit record, you need a mentor to teach you everything you need to know, almost like a manager but they give you the freedom to find yourself and create what you want to create but you will know the formula to make a hit record. Are you sure you are ready for this chance in your life?

Get your knowledge up, knowledge is power and it even counts in the music industry. Russell Simmons didn’t just sit there all day and def jam records was born, he worked consistently hard to get it up there and is now a major record label. You have to do this for yourself and you will go far. I found a website that teaches you everything you need to know about music production and teaches you the formulas you need to know. It has everything on software and hardware, fruity loops, reason and more. So go get your knowledge up and be ready for the future, Your Future.
