I’ve looked over the music producer pro program that you’re referring to.
I would add that what very few aspiring producers and engineers realize is just how much training really does go into learning.
I’ve been a consultant to producers and a producer myself professionally for almost 25 years now (yikes! yes it makes me feel older)… and the thing I notice quite often these days is that…well, people want to know everything, and they want to know it “yesterday”.
It just doesn’t work that way. So, programs like the one you’re recommending are not going to make people into true music producers. There’s not a program on the planet that can replace years of music, producing and engineering experience required to become a professional.
But with that said – signing up for music producer pro and other training solutions should be a no-brainer for any aspiring producer.
Becoming good at anything takes time and dedication. But the fact that you can sign up for training online, even if you only learn one or two solid tidbit of true know-how – is an advantage that any producer, even ten years ago – didn’t have.
